Privacy Notice

Naylors ark, trading as Naylor’s Ark Soul Sanctuary, is the data controller for personal information handled through this service. This is an app-owned notice and not a certification or independent audit.

We may collect names, email addresses, telephone numbers, account identifiers and profile details; visit details, access notes and booking history; waiver, signature, emergency-contact and relevant medical information; volunteer availability, training, attendance and checklist records; support messages; and technical security information such as device, browser and IP data.

Payment card details are collected and handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and are never stored by us.

We use account and contact data to provide the service and communicate with you under our contract; booking, waiver and health information to operate visits safely and meet legal obligations; payment and sponsorship records to administer orders; and security and usage information for our legitimate interests in preventing fraud, protecting accounts and improving reliability. Where consent is appropriate, including optional communications, you may withdraw it.

We share information only where necessary with service providers supporting hosting, authentication, communications and technical operations; Stripe for payment processing, membership billing, tax calculation and invoicing; professional legal or accounting advisers; and public authorities where the law requires it. Lovable provides the app platform and backend capabilities; Naylors ark remains responsible for its own operational practices and commitments.

Some service providers may process information outside the UK or EEA. Where this occurs, we rely on an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above and any animal-welfare, health and safety, tax, insurance or legal requirements. Account information is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Safety and waiver records may need to be retained after account deletion.

UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase information, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, and withdraw consent. We aim to respond within one month. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, role-based permissions and protected account authentication. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We use essential browser storage and cookies needed for sign-in, security, checkout and service operation. We do not currently use optional advertising cookies. Browser settings can remove or block storage, but essential functions may then stop working.
